Alissa & Mike

I have known of Alissa for a long time. Her brother, Joe and I, were best friends growing up. As kids, Alissa was rarely seen. Joe was very protective and acted suspicious when friends were around his home. Now that we have all grown up Alissa has broken free of Joe’s protection. Mike is a lucky guy. If he had known Joe back in the day, I am not sure he would be walking.

I photographed Alissa and Mike in Chicago’s Chinatown. We met at Ping Tom Memorial Park. It is tucked away in a very well hidden location north of Chinatown. Besides to local people, I do not think many know of its existence.

I am very excited to photograph Alissa and Mike’s wedding this Fall. The reception will be at the McDonalds Corporate Campus in Oak Brook, Illinois. Don't be fooled, this is one amazing place. The buildings, landscape, lakes, etc. were all thoughtfully designed to fit the landscape. It was rumored that if any tree were damaged during construction, the general contractor would incur thousands of dollars for each offence. A lot of time and skill went into this architectural gem.
