This has taken a bit longer than normal to post. I apologize. We had a death in the family and in the process I am a week behind at the office.

This was the toughest day I have had to work. I was feeling irritable, drowsy, and simply lacked my normal energy. My neck and face (lips, chin, cheeks) were covered in Poison Ivy blisters. It was excruciating! I must have taken ten Benadryl throughout the day to keep from running around like a mad man. When we got home Helena thought I was going to destroy the house. I was going mad from the “ITCH”. I did not sleep a wink that night. I’m not sure what it is with Indiana and Poison Ivy. Chicago does not have it. Until moving down here, I was itch free and slept like a baby.

Sorry about the rant. The wedding was very nice. I love the IU campus. The grounds are well laid out and have the feeling of a campus out East. The day started out a bit chaotic when the guys decided to leave the ladies and myself at the hotel unexpectedly. Once Stephanie took command of the situation, everything went smoothly. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful. The reception was very elegant. I enjoyed each family. They were courteous and very easy going. Dave and Rae provided a great live performance and got the crowd grooving. Dave and Rae are great at interacting with the crowd and providing a relaxing vibe. I must say Rae is very organized, professional, and charming. It is always nice to see someone take charge of the evening.
