Thanksgiving (coming soon)

Maria and J.T. have become some of our closest friends. I took this image of Maria with six-week-old Bridget after our Thanksgiving feast. The count down has begun. Six more days and Helena and I will be a mamma and pappa. Wow! Bridget is anxious to know if she will have a future suitor or confidante. We all await the news. It is not intentional, but this is the second photo I have posted of a women breast feeding (http://nep-blog.blogspot.com/2006/07/homehealthyhectic.html#links). There is something wonderful about the a child feeding. The sight is peaceful, relaxing, nurturing, tender, and loving. I am jealous I will never feel that motherly bond with my child. I am sure to post a third breast-feeding shot shortly.
