Week One

Helena had to get out of the house today. Lucky for us Zionsville was having its Winter Festival today. It was cold but we loaded the Bugaboo with many blankets to kept our little one warm and toasty. We walked the few blocks into town and came across Santa’s friends. Seven days into life and Elin has seen her first reindeer. Helena’s mother grew up in an area of Sweden where Sami reindeer herds run wild. We hope to show Elin those herds in person one day.

Today the magnificent three met for the first time. It is amazing to see how large the twins have gotten. It is easy to see their growth with Elin between them. From left to right are Campbell (aka - Rowe = red head), Elin (aka - Sweed E), and Emerson (aka - Big Mac). We look forward to their future tormenting the boys and being little girls.
Elin has another very close new friend who loves to snuggle among her stuffed animals. Pumpa, our cat, does not get very close though. She is not yet sure of our new addition and how long she will be staying. With the three ladies I feel a bit overwhelmed around the house. My only comfort is knowing Pumpa will not be wearing pink anytime soon. I hope.

Thank you all for your comments, gifts, advice, and most importantly your help the past few weeks. We look forward to you all meeting Elin (Sweed E) soon.
p.s. Helena and I have both called Elin, Pumpa this evening. It is clear Pumpa has made her mark on our lives.
Thanks, N H e
