Race Day

We had a total blast yesterday... perfect weather (I mean perfect), a half day of skipping school (for Briggs), a visit to a world-renowed race track (Indianapolis Speedway), and eight laps around the track going over 140+ mph (for Tim).

Tim participated in Richard Petty's Driving Experience with some great friends and new acquaintances. They had been wanting to do the school for a long time and finally Bill Keeling of the Indianapolis Eye Clinic pulled it all together. For many, it was the moment of a lifetime.

Oh...and Helena's father is visiting from Sweden so was able to join in on the fun. For a Swede, he is a race fan.
