California and the Redwoods!

Today I walked the Golden Gate Bridge, ate lunch at 'Hamburgers' located in Salsalito, and took a four-hour hike through the Muir Redwood National Park.
Seeing the Redwoods in person was a dream come true. Truly! I do not recall wanting to see or experience something more in my life. Since childhood I have been wanting to see this enchanted forest. It was well worth the wait. As I walked through the woods, I thought of the future and my children. I hope Helena and I are able to expose them to the Great Woods and much more.
My only regret is that Helena was not able to be here with me. I would love for her and her parents to see this enchanted forest first hand. Maybe we will have the opportunity in the coming years.
I am off to shoot, what I can only assume, will be an unbelievably beautiful wedding at Chateau Julien Vineyard in Carmel Valley. I am excited to spend the weekend with Mona, Chris, and all of their friends/family. We have not met in person yet but they seem like a fun couple. We have a lot of fun plans so make sure to check back to the blog to see some of their wedding images in a week or so.
